We reached Haridwar at 4.30 pm. We decided to stay in Gopal Dham Ashram near to Haridwar Railway Station. We went to Ganga Aarti at Har ki Paudi. Many people from across the world comes here to see most famous GANGA AARTI.At the time of evening when sunlight is set on water and dusk settles down thousands of people in Haridwar gather at HAR-KI-PAURI GHAT to see the beauty and getting blessed during the“Ganga Aarti”atmosphere is quite charge up and people are very much involved on both sides of the bank and its a wonderful sight in itself. The Aarti take place by facing river and performed by the priest (pandits) who are selected by Ganga Sabha. The pandits lighten up the lamps and hold large fire bowls in their hands and rings the temple bell. Pundit’s starts by Aarti by the chanting Sanskrit mantras and people standing on ghat float diyas on river with flower.Ganga Aartis dynamic show of light and sound where you will see the perfect hand movement, lamps, and texture, trust me it is delightful to watch the all the lamps to the prayer songs which are played at background.

We did shopping for Kedarkantha trek. We bought woolen Jacket,woolen hand gloves, fleece hand gloves, balcova, woolen socks and other necessary things for kedarkantha trek.

We travelled to Dehradun by bus. We took bus of 8.30 am from ISBT bus depot haridwar which is near Railway station. We had to go Sankri for kedarkantha trek but there is no direct bus from Haridwar to Sankri. We reached 11.00 am at Dehradun ISBT bus depot. We wanted to reach up to Purola. After asked to people they said you will get bus for Purola from Parvatiy Bus Depot which is outside of Dehradun Railway station. From ISBT dehradun to Parvatiy Bus Depot we travelled in City Bus. Bus for Purola was 1.30 pm. Root for bus was viaMussoorie. Mussoorie is hill station it is about 35 Km from Dehradun. We reached Purola about 7.15pm. I asked to Bus Driver about Hotel for accomodation. Meanwhile a man around age of 60 to 65 who is bus driver's friend came into bus. He took us in good hotel. He also negotiate for room rent with Hotel Manager. We did not Know that person but he helped us.Helping nature is real beauty of Uttarakhand People. After dinner we fall asleep.

There was first bus from Purola to Sankri on 7 am. Netwar village is in between Purola and Sankri. We took permission of forest department to enter Govind Pant wild Sanctuary.Permission charges: Rs.150 per head for 3 days and extra every day they charged Rs. 50. Permission is necessary.We reached Sankri about 10.30 am. There were many trekkers going for Kedarkantha Summit. Unfortunately Har Ki Doon trek was closed by forest department upto 1st March due to 3 local people died in avalanche at Har Ki Doon. We were very exciting for trekking. We decided to trek without porter and guide. For lunch and dinner we packed Parathas. Our backpack was very heavy so we decided to unload some unnecessary things at Sankri. We asked at one of the shop at Sankri for keeping our some unnecessary things. shopkeeper was agree. We kept unnecessary things in bags at shop.Still our backpack was heavy. We started to walk
